Operations required by Inttegro's native payment state machine.
CheckoutPaymentSheetAdapter is the production implementation. Supply a custom adapter only for deterministic previews, tests, or a controlled transport that preserves Checkout's read-and-pay security boundary. Retries must be idempotent and delayed methods must remain pending until authoritative completion.
